Actimar Shipping Co. dynamically entered the shipping business in 2002, offering Chartering, Liner & Tramp Agency Services at the ports of Piraeus, Thessaloniki and Eleusis, as well as Chalkis, Volos, Kavala and most major Greek provincial ports.

With the addition of highly experienced personnel having served for many years in the freight forwarding industry, Actimar decisively entered the International Freight Forwarding business in 2003, being supported by a vast agency network in more than 120 countries worldwide, allowing the company to be able to offer its clients the best combination of credibility, cost effectiveness, service speed and security concerning the transportation of their goods throughout the globe.

Actimar is handling thousands of tons of containerized goods every year, with main routes to Greece ex West Mediterranean, Black Sea, Continent, East Mediterranean and the Far East. Actimar is also frequently exporting containerized goods from Piraeus to Middle East destinations.

Main commodities mostly handled by Actimar, include bagged cement, bagged salt, palletized cargo, steels, foodstuff, etc.
